As we enter the last of 2026 I can’t help but reflect on the last 2 years. In March of 2025 I asked you for your support as we took Glory Coffee Co. to the next stage through our coffee cart. I was so blessed by the way you supported our small business in your donations, purchases, and kind words! Because of your support, that goal became a reality! We got to be a part of the Danville Community Market for the Summer of 2025 and serve our community a new level of specialty coffee for the area. We immediately felt loved and welcomed by our Danville community as we began to serve our first ever “regulars” every Saturday morning! Thanks to your support and the support of our local community, 2025 was the best year ever for GCC and there was so much more room to grow!

But seasons change…

In the Spring of this year (2026) Jaclyn and I made the difficult decision to leave the city where our family began to grow and GCC began to thrive. This was no easy choice, but as our family began to grow even more, the call became clear. In May we moved our family to Virginia Beach, VA which we now get to call home. While this was the right decision for our family, this felt like a step back for GCC. From a business side of things it looks like we left a thriving market with a captive customer base and exponential growth potential to move to a more crowded market where we now need to start from square one; but GCC is more than just a business.

While we have been quiet for the past several months as we’ve been getting established here in Tidewater, we’ve been able to get a good view of our new community. We are here not to just sell to our new community, but to serve them. Our desire at GCC is to foster deep relationships through specialty coffee. We believe that we are in a unique position to do just that here in Virginia Beach.

So, please continue to support GCC and join us as we embark on this new season at the beach!
